HEMP-CBD

Is your hemp organic?

Our hemp is non-GMO and is grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers. Unfortunately, there isn’t an organic certification process in place for hemp, but we are hopeful that within the next year there will be. Stay tuned.

What is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol, the most prominent naturally-occurring cannabinoid component found in cannabis that comprises up to 40% of the plant. According to the US Government, cannabidiol is “a cannabinoid devoid of psychoactive effect. ” After THC (Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD is by far the most studied natural cannabinoid. According to many researchers, CBD may be the single most important cannabinoid ever discovered.

What is the endocannabinoid system?

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is one of science’s newest and most exciting discoveries. The ECS regulates relaxation, eating, sleeping, certain inflammation responses and even cognitive function. There are two types of cannabinoid receptors found throughout the body (CB1 and CB2), but they are most abundant in the brain and immune system respectively. In a nutshell, your ECS is responsible for making sure your entire body is working optimally.

Is your CBD synthetic?

No. Our CBD is a natural constituent of industrial hemp.

Will CBD help me with my illness?

Due to FDA regulations, we cannot make claims about whether or not CBD can help with specific ailments. We do, however, suggest that you conduct your own research. There are many studies available online.

Will CBD help me if I’m healthy?

Each individual is unique and has different wellness goals they are interested in addressing through the consumption and application of our products. CBD has a variety of benefits that have been shared via customer testimonials, clinical trials, etc.

Take a look at this chart and again this information has not been approved by the FDA.

WE MAKE NO CLAIMS THAT THIS IS TRUE FOR ANY ONE PERSON OR THAT IT WILL BE FOR YOU.

Are CBD and THC the same thing?

No, they are different compounds. CBD and THC are both cannabinoids, but THC is the cannabinoid that gets you “high” or “stoned.” CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it won’t get you “high.”

Can I get high from CBD products?

Our CBD comes from carefully cultivated hemp plants—not CANNABIS—which is why it is legal for us to import and extract the CBD-rich oil. We have spent years developing special cultivars of the hemp that produce naturally elevated levels of CBD and only trace amounts of THC, the psychoactive compound that gives cannabis users the “high” feeling. In comparison to hemp, most recreational cannabis plants have between 5% to over 20% THC.

Can you make any claims about what CBD can do for me?

No. Our CBD-rich hemp oil products can fall into different categories depending on how they are marketed and sold: they can be considered a food or a nutritional supplement. Our CBD is a natural constituent of industrial hemp oil.

I’ve never tried CBD. Where should I start?

If you’ve never tried CBD before, 10mg is an excellent place to start, whether it’s through edibles or oils.

General Questions

What is the difference between a gummy, lozenge and caramel?

A gummy is a small chewy candy that is chewed in the mouth and goes through your digestive track.

A lozenge is a hard candy product that can fully dissolve in the mouth for sublingual absorption.

A caramel is a soft malleable chew that can fully dissolve in the mouth for sublingual absorption and also contains dairy.

How do I know which product to start with?

It really comes down to personal preference of what each customer likes. Our products are available in low dose options (10mg per serving) to support entry level for both CBD and THC infused products.

Tinctures are a very versatile product and can be ingested or applied topically and come in a variety of doses allowing for higher concentrations of either CBD or THC.

Edibles are a great starting point as they have specific mg of THC or CBD infused allowing for different absorptions, specifically sublingual absorption.

What is sublingual absorption?

Sublingual, meaning literally ‘under the tongue’ refers to a method of administering substances via the mouth in such a way that the substances are rapidly absorbed via the blood vessels under the tongue rather than via the digestive track.

Sublingual absorption is the preferred delivery method to get cannabinoids (both THC and CBD) into the blood stream for maximum benefits.
